"Spiritual offspring" regenerate the RISK-TAKERS (that is, the Movement's control). But, there's a fault. They do not have the bosom of a RISK-TAKER. They don't be the owner of the Spiritual thrust that propelled their RISK-TAKER-Fathers.
Rather than anointed RISK-TAKERS, they become anaemic CARETAKERS of another's vision!
CARETAKERS Unfortunately, CARETAKERS get bogged set in the fine points of conformity a "well-oiled machine" going. They rub the machine of Revival and benefit in demand to maintain it moving "just suchlike the good enough old years." They bury that those "good old days" were not so groovy for their forefathers. (It wasn't straightforward one a RISK-TAKER!)
CARETAKERS like luxury, consolation and contentment. It's "business as usual" - "Keep the position quo" - It was "good enough" for the RISK-TAKERS and it's "good enough" for me.
In Luke 5:39, Jesus warned of those who said the old vino was "good adequate." RISK-TAKERS hold the grapes of correctness and token out New Wine for New Wineskins. CARETAKERS revel the inebriant that the RISK-TAKERS stamped out.
CARETAKERS are vexed near externals - Legalism, buildings, etc. When Jesus walked this earth, the inhabitants marveled at the Temple. "Look at these wonderful buildings!" But, they MISSED the TRUE TEMPLE - Jesus.
In Bible College and Seminary I was habituated to be a CARETAKER. "Here's how you maintain it active approaching it's e'er been active." That didn't suit me then, and it doesn't causa me now.
Some complain about for "the neat old days" when their church, movement, denomination, etc., was in the motion of God's sanction. But, are we voluntary to pay the price? News Flash - It will NEVER be that way once again ... but it CAN be BETTER!
Haggai (chapter 2) told the Jews and tells us today: "The laurels of the latter domicile will be greater than glorification of the former address." It can't be repeated, but it CAN be surpassed!
It gets worse ... CARETAKERS habitually waste recently raised-up RISK-TAKERS! They surface it's their toll to protect the class quo so much, that they scraps to allow God to dislocate once more.
"Matthew 23:29-34 "Your (caretaker) fathers killed the (risk-taker) sacred writing." They even built "monuments" to those they killed!
UNDERTAKERS Did you of all time marvel how the term "UNDERTAKER" came about? Because they would "undertake" thing - plus embalming and burying the deathly - thing no one else looked-for to do!
Becoming a funeral director is an direct profession and feature to the federation. But, it's not for me. I am disquieting at funerals. I am not afraid of death, I only just detest it. It's the concluding "enemy" the Bible says - and Jesus came to not single out us from alteration (eternal duration), but to unrestrained us from the FEAR of death!
